THE TRINITY
There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and co-eternal.
JESUS CHRIST
Jesus Christ is God the Son, the second person of the Trinity. On earth, Jesus was 100% God and 100% man in 100% unity. He is the only man ever to have lived a sinless life. Jesus Christ was conceived by God the Father, through the Holy Spirit in the virgin Mary's womb, performed miracles, died on the cross for humanity, and thus, atoned for our sins through the shedding of His blood. According to the Scriptures, he rose from the dead on the third day, ascended to the Father's right hand, intercedes for the Saints, and will return in power and glory.
The HOLY SPIRIT
The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity. He is present to make people aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He empowers the saints for service and witness, cleanses man from the old nature, and conforms us to Christ’s image. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the initial sign of speaking in other tongues.
Gifts of the Spirit
We believe in the manifestation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. He ministers to His people through tongues, interpretation of tongues, prophecy, words of knowledge and wisdom, discerning of spirits, faith, working of miracles, healing, helps, and government.
Divine Healing
Divine healing is an integral part of the gospel. Deliverance from sickness is provided for in the atonement and is the privilege of all believers.
Salvation
As a result of the fall of man, we must be born again. Through faith, Jesus Christ saved us by grace, His death, burial, and resurrection. Salvation is a gift from God, not a result of our good works or human efforts.
Baptism
We believe in water baptism by immersion in the Name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Through baptism, we identify with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Church
The church is a local community of believers unified through faith in Christ. It is committed to Christ’s teachings and obeying all of His commands, and it seeks to bring the gospel to the world. The church works together in love and unity, intent on the ultimate purpose of glorifying Christ.
The Bible
The Holy Bible, and only the Bible, is the authoritative Word of God. It alone is the final authority in determining all doctrinal truths. In its original writing, infallible and inerrant.
Eternity
God created humankind to exist forever. Man will live eternally separated from God by sin or in union with God through forgiveness and salvation. When you die, you will either spend eternity in heaven or hell. Eternal separation from God happens in hell. The lasting union with God occurs in heaven.
The Rapture and the Second Coming of Christ
The church's imminent, blessed hope is the resurrection of those who died in Christ and their translation with those who remain alive. Jesus Christ will physically and visibly return to earth for the second time to establish His kingdom.
